How to Select a Paint Coating

• The darker the sheet color, the higher the coating grade you should select: Dark-colored sheets absorb heat, causing surface temperatures in summer to be more than ten degrees higher than those of light-colored sheets, which accelerates coating aging significantly. Colors with very low brightness paired with PE will begin to fade noticeably within three to five years.
• Maintenance requirements determine the system’s upper limit: For low-rise industrial buildings that can be cleaned regularly, PE is sufficient; for curtain walls installed with no intention of human access for twenty years, use PVDF directly.
• Contracts must clearly specify parameters and specifications: When signing a contract, clearly state film thickness, color, environmental rating, and other details to avoid quality issues later on where after-sales support cannot be found.
