What Is PPGL?

Pre-painted galvalume steel using galvalume steel sheets as the substrate after surface degreasing, phosphating, complex acid treatment, coating with organic paint, and baking. Galvalume is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600℃, and its entire structure is composed of aluminum, iron, silicon, and zinc, forming a dense quadruple junction crystal of an alloy. Our galvalume steel coils have strong corrosion resistance, which is 3 times that of pure galvanized steel. The surface of aluminized zinc has beautiful zinc flowers, and the surface of the material is formed by the metal elements zinc and aluminum. If the zinc is worn after a long time of use, the aluminum forms a dense layer of alumina, preventing the corrosion resistance substances from further corroding the interior, so that the material has a longer service life.

1.Corrosion resistance: pre-painted galvalumcoilshave strong corrosion resistance, normal service life of up to 25 years. The corrosion resistance of pre-painted coils comes from the maintenance function of the obstruction layer of aluminum and the dedicated maintenance function of zinc. When zinc is used for dedicated maintenance in cutting edges, scratches and coating scrapes, aluminum forms an insoluble oxide layer, showing barrier maintenance function.
