473 tons Color Coated Steel Strip exported to India

Wanzhi Steel has received another cooperation order from an Indian customer. He placed an order for 473 tons of color-coated steel strips with us in April. The production record of this cooperation case is as follows.

Customer Background

The client in this cooperation is a dealer in Madhya Pradesh, India, who has his own processing plant and mainly engages in local industrial and residential construction projects. The client is looking for color-coated steel strips for making fences and decorative building components.

Production steps

(1) Raw material selection

Use high-quality cold-rolled steel coil (SPCC/DC01) as the base material to ensure good formability and strength.

(4) Strip cutting

Slit into 187mm (black) and 600mm (white) widths according to customer requirements.

Deburr the edges to ensure safety and aesthetics.

Quality Check

We implement a strict quality inspection process to ensure that our products meet international standards (ASTM/AISI):

✔Coating thickness detection: Use a thickness gauge to ensure uniform coating (≥20μm).

✔Color difference check: Compare with RAL color card to ensure color consistency.

✔Adhesion test: Cross-cut test to ensure that the coating does not fall off.

✔Hardness test: Pencil hardness test (≥2H).

✔Corrosion resistance test: Salt spray test (≥500 hours without rust).

Packaging and Shipping

• Internal moisture-proof packaging: Each roll of steel strip is wrapped with PE film to prevent moisture during sea transportation.
• Wooden pallet fixing: Avoid collision and deformation during transportation.
• Container loading: A 20GP container can load about 20 tons of color-coated steel strip.
• Transportation method: Sea transportation to Mumbai Port, India, and then land transportation to Madhya Pradesh.
