Textured PPGI Coil exported to Estonia

Wanzhi Steel established a good cooperative relationship with an Estonian customer in March. The customer ordered 209 tons of Textured PPGI Coil. At the same time, the customer introduced two business friends to us. The following is a case review.

Customer Background

The customer is a prefabricated building material supplier in Tallinn, Estonia, seeking Textured PPGI Coil for projects: Tartu modular housing roof, Parnu warehouse project. It requires anti-slip properties to adapt to the snowy climate in Northern Europe. The coating complies with EU standards (REACH, CE certification).

Textured PPGI Coil Production process

The key is to have a non-slip texture (Ra ≥ 20μm, for snow grip). Wanzhi Steel strictly follows the implementation standards.

The base material is DX51D with a zinc content of 120g/m². The primer is chrome-free pre-treated, the texture is rolled to form a pattern of Ra 25μm, and the topcoat is polyester paint with UV inhibitor (35μm).

Slitting production

The customer requires the roll width to be 1,250mm, and then the main roll is slit to 153mm. The Wanzhi intelligent production line is automatically slitting.

 Textured PPGI strip measurement

We conduct layer-by-layer inspection on the products shipped out of the factory to ensure every delivery. Multiple measurements show that the width is 15.3cm.

Quality Check

Wanzhi Steel’s Textured PPGI Coil was cured at 220°C for 60 seconds and passed the hardness test (H pencil hardness test). Automatic camera scanning detects pinholes/scratches.

Packaging

The customer specified packaging is: waterproof PE film + steel strapping. The coil is lined with VCI (volatile corrosive agent) paper.
