What is zero spangle gi sheet?

Generally, there will be zinc spangles on the surface of hot-dip galvanized sheet. The zero-spangle Gi sheet is made by adding special alloy elements or adopting special cooling control during the hot-dip galvanizing process, so that the zinc layer forms very fine zinc spangles that are difficult to detect with the naked eye during the solidification process, thus presenting a relatively flat and smooth surface with almost no obvious zinc spangles.

Z60: about 30 g/m² on one side (coating thickness about 4.3 μm/side). Expected service life 10-15 years.
Z80: about 40 g/m² on one side (thickness about 5.7 μm/side). Expected service life 15-20 years.
Z100: about 50 g/m² on one side (thickness about 7.1 μm/side). Expected service life 20-25 years.
Z120: ≥60 g/m² on one side (thickness ≥8.6 μm/side). Expected service life 25-30 years.

Z60 can be selected for dry indoor environments.
Z80-Z100 is selected for general outdoor use.
Z120 or above or aluminum zinc plating (GL) is required for high salt spray, acid, and alkali areas.

If painting is required, select a coating with surface treatment (such as passivation).
