Steel Coil Packaging

Steel coil packaging can protect the steel coil from damage during storage and transportation. Wanzhi Steel offers different packaging options for metal coils and sheets.

There are two steel coil packaging types:

1. Simple packaging, which uses 1 to 3 steel strips for fixing. It is suitable for hot-rolled coils, chilled coils, or short-distance transportation.

2. Fine packaging. Different packaging materials are wrapped on the outer surface of the steel coil and bundled. This process is suitable for cold-rolled steel, color coated steel coils, galvanized and galvalume steel coils, etc.

Steel Coil Packaging

Fine packaging of metal coil includes vertical packaging and horizontal packaging. Wanzhi Steel mainly adopts horizontal packaging. The packaging materials include waterproof kraft paper, plastic film, protective steel sheet, corner protector, strapping, etc. The steel coil and sheet are often wrapped with waterproof kraft paper and plastic film inside and the steel sheet outside. The vertical packaging is equipped with a wooden pallet. Baosteel Huangshi Coated and Galvanized Sheet Co. Ltd adopts vertical packaging. The horizontal packaging can be fixed with wooden pallets as well. Moreover, we will put labels on the outer packaging. The packaging details can be customized according to your needs.

Packaging of Metal Sheets

The metal sheet packaging is similar to coil packaging. The seaworthy packaging also uses waterproof kraft paper and plastic film inside and steel sheets outside and is tied up with strappings. The sheet bundles are fixed with wooden pallets.
