Customer Background

The Singapore customer is an internationally renowned roofing sheets manufacturer. They purchased pre-painted galvalume steel coils mainly to produce color-coated roofing sheets. Because galvalume sheet is more corrosion-resistant than galvanized steel sheets, customers have used Wanzhi Group’s color-coated aluminum-zinc coils for five years as raw materials to produce roofing sheets. At the same time, we offer all RAL colors for customers to choose from.

PPGL Coil Overview

PPGL coil has a smooth surface and is corrosion-resistant, with a service life of 25 years (3 times that of color-coated galvanized coil). More than 20 years of outdoor experiments have confirmed that the edge maintenance of 55% aluminum-zinc coating is better than that of galvanized and 5% aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets. It is heat-resistant up to 315°C, and the color coating has good color retention under direct sunlight, making it an important choice for roof panel production. It has excellent processing performance and is also suitable for furniture, home appliances, highway guardrails and other fields.

Note On The Use Of PPGL Coil

1. Use color-coated galvalume steel coils with caution under the conditions of an alkaline medium.

2. The roof of the aluminized zinc building should have a certain slope, which is conducive to water drainage and avoids worsening corrosion.

3. Avoid direct contact with wet cement and wet wood, lead, copper, stone, and ink.

4. Cutting plates should be used as much as possible to avoid cutting on the site.

5. Processing and stacking should be prevented from moisture and high temperature caused by the fingerprint film black.

6. It is not recommended to use alcohol-based solvents to wipe and clean the surface. If necessary, please conduct a small sample test first to avoid damage to the surface skin film.
