It refers to a 14 gauge steel plate with a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel plate. The full name of gauge is American wire gauge, abbreviated as AWG, a unit of measurement for diameter. 14 gauge is equal to 1.89738 mm. Production and Package
Pretreatment: The steel base is first treated with pickling to remove surface grease, oxidized layer, rust and impurities.
Hot dip galvanizing: The steel is immersed in a molten zinc solution for hot dip galvanizing. At high temperatures, the zinc solution reacts with the steel surface to form a zinc-iron alloy layer, followed by a uniform zinc coating on the surface. This process effectively enhances the corrosion resistance of the steel.
Cooling and post-treatment: After galvanizing, the zinc is cooled to prevent distortion and to allow the zinc layer to solidify. Subsequently, passivation or other chemical surface treatments can be applied to further enhance its properties.
Quality Inspection: This includes checking the appearance quality, thickness, adhesion and rust resistance of the coating to ensure that the product meets the standard requirements.
Cutting and Packing: Cut the galvanized steel as needed to obtain the proper dimensional accuracy, and then pack it to prepare for transportation and storage.

GI Embossed Sheet/Roll: The surface is pressed with concave and convex patterns (such as diamonds, orange peel patterns, etc.), and the patterns are formed by cold rolling or hot rolling. The patterns increase friction, improve aesthetics, and slightly increase rigidity.
Perforated Sheet/Roll: The surface is evenly distributed with round holes, square holes, rectangular holes, long holes and other holes, which are formed by stamping or laser cutting. It is convenient for air circulation and reduces the weight of the sheet while maintaining structural strength.
