The process includes acid washing, i.e., the steel plate is immersed into the acid washing solution, to remove the oxides and dirt on the surface by mechanical agitation. Then, it is put into the neutralization tank to neutralize the acid and alkali on the metal surface.
The pre-treated steel plate enters the cleaning tank for deep cleaning to remove residual acids, alkalis and impurities from the surface. Solvents and cleaning agents are added to the cleaning tank. Common solvents are clean water and alcohol, and common cleaning agents are alkaline and acidic cleaning agents. Cleaning time is usually 5-20 minutes.
After cleaning, the steel plate is subjected to hot-dip aluminum-zinc plating. In this process, the steel plate passes through a plating bath filled with molten aluminum-zinc alloy. Through the hot-dip plating process, the aluminum-zinc alloy evenly covers the surface of the steel plate to form a layer of aluminum-zinc alloy plating. This coating significantly improves the corrosion resistance and service life of the steel plate.
