What is DX51D PPGI Coil?

DX51D

DX51D is a steel conforming to the European standard EN 10143. It has excellent cold workability and can be bent, stamped, and stretched. As a substrate, DX51D provides good basic formability and is one of the most widely used grades.

PPGI

PPGI is an abbreviation for Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron. Its production process involves applying one or more layers of organic coating to the surface of a galvanized steel coil through a roller coating process after strict pretreatment, followed by high-temperature baking and curing to create a color-coated steel coil.

Types of PPGI products available

PPGI flat sheets: Coils of PPGI material are fed to a leveling machine, straightened, and cut into PPGI flat sheets of the required length.
PPGI roofing sheets: PPGI coils are bent and extruded into specific cross-sectional shapes using a roll forming machine.
PPGI perforated sheets: Various shapes, sizes, and arrangements of holes are punched into PPGI flat sheets or PPGI coils using a CNC punch press.
