26Ga, 30Ga Galvanized Steel Sheets Exported to Portugal

In order to meet the needs of local industrial plants and residential projects, Portuguese customers purchased 512 tons of standard zinc-spangle galvanized steel plates from our company. After strict production control and anti-rust packaging for sea transportation, this batch of materials successfully passed the Portuguese customs inspection and has now been put into the construction of local key projects. Customer Background

Portugal is an important coastal country in Europe, and its construction industry has extremely high requirements for weather resistance of materials. The customer is one of the top five local steel structure engineering contractors. After comparing multiple suppliers, it finally selected the 26/30 Gauge galvanized steel sheets produced by our company. It is mainly used for roof and wall enclosure systems. It is particularly emphasized that the product must comply with the EN 10346 standard to adapt to the high salt spray environment on the Atlantic coast.

Project Production

• Substrate pretreatment: Adopt Anshan DC04 grade cold-rolled substrate, electrolytic degreasing and pickling (hydrochloric acid concentration 18%), Entrance loop storage 200 meters to ensure continuous production.
• Hot-dip galvanizing: The zinc pot temperature is precisely controlled at 455±3℃, the air knife pressure is 0.8Bar, the spacing is 12mm, to ensure the uniformity of the zinc layer, and the “lead antimony” alloy is used to control the crystallization of zinc flowers, and the flower diameter is 3-8mm.
• Post-processing section: chromate passivation treatment (chromium content 1.2g/m²), double-roller skin-finishing machine operation (pressure 600KN), online electrostatic oiling (oil film weight 1.5g/m²).
• Slitting and packaging: width tolerance ±0.3mm, each bundle is wrapped with moisture-proof paper, and PVC corner guards are installed at the ends.

Quality Assurance System

• Sampling and testing every hour: zinc layer weight (magnetic induction thickness gauge), surface tension (dyne pen test), bending performance (0T-3T test).
• Third-party verification: The customer found a third-party verification, including TUV certified salt spray test report (1500 hours without red rust), material certificate (SGS test carbon content ≤0.08%).

Logistics solutions

• Port of shipment: Qingdao Port, Port of destination: Lisbon Port.
• Transportation method: 32 40-foot high cabinets (16 tons net weight per cabinet).
• Loss prevention measures: Humidity recorder is placed in the container, 10 cm ventilation space is provided between the steel plate and the container wall, and marine insurance covers the entire journey.
