Customer Background

Tonga, as an island country in the South Pacific, has a tropical marine climate, high temperature, and high humidity all year round, and is severely eroded by sea breeze and salt spray, which requires extremely high corrosion resistance of construction steel. A local building materials supplier, focusing on the supply of steel structure buildings and industrial materials, finally chose to cooperate with us after comparing multiple suppliers. The customer needs high-quality double-sided textured steel strips for local building reinforcement and machinery manufacturing, and particularly emphasizes that the product must be able to withstand the harsh marine environment for a long time, and have excellent anti-slip properties to meet the requirements of safe construction.

Production Process

The double-sided Textured PPGI Steel of this project is produced with Z200 galvanized steel sheet as the base material. It is first pre-treated by degreasing, cleaning, phosphating, etc., and then the organic coating is simultaneously applied on the front and back of the base material by roller coating or spraying process, and then the coating is closely combined with the base material by high-temperature curing and baking, and finally a composite material with bidirectional texture is formed.

Then the striping and shearing process is carried out to finally obtain a double-sided textured PPGI steel strip with a width of 153mm and a thickness of 0.5, 0.8mm.

Quality inspection

Our quality inspection department will conduct product tests on the products before they leave the factory, including but not limited to: surface uniformity, texture clarity, defect detection, tensile test, bending test, salt spray test, and hardness test. Ensure that the performance meets international standards such as ASTM, JIS, EN, etc. The width, thickness, and color must be strictly consistent with customer requirements.
