1st Step: Find out the Roofing Area
2. But, Roofing Length = Building Length+ Overhang both sides
=10m+0.3m+03m
=10.6m
Therefore Roofing Length is 10.6m.
Assume the Roofing Widith = 6.37m
Roofing Area = 10.6*6.37=67.522㎡
Therefore, the roofing area is 67.522㎡.
After deducting overlap and underlapping both sides, we remain with 0.75m as the effective width for the sheet.
Assume that a piece of CGI sheet is 3m long, The covering length of the two sheets is 250mm， then the effective Length=3m-0.25m=2.75m.
Effective Area=2.75m*0.75m=2.0625㎡
3. The number of roofing sheets required is Roofing Area/ Effective area for a single sheet=67.522㎡/2.0625㎡=32.7 sheets
